Autism Garden is committed to the health and well-being of our behavioral community, staff, and clinic.
Caring for the clients and staff is a top priority at Autism Garden. We have implemented heightened health and sanitation protocols and
health safety training to every Autism Garden employee. Specific actions, protocols, and procedures implemented include:
- Temperature checks for staff and clients prior to admission to the center.
- Limiting access to our centers to essential staff members and clients.
- Increase the frequency of center cleaning to four times per week, in addition to directing staff members to continually sanitize
restrooms, workstations, doorknobs, food service surfaces, toys and equipment throughout the day
- Maintaining a sufficient inventory of disinfectant supplies of hand sanitizer, hand sanitizer spray, disinfecting wipes, gloves, paper
towels, and disinfectant cleaners to ensure direct access to potentially scarce supplies for staff use.
- Implementing hand washing and sanitizing procedures for all employees and clients prior to entering Autism Garden, before and after
meals, after using the restroom, after sneezing or blowing their nose, and as otherwise appropriate
- Practicing social distancing within centers, to the best of our ability.
- Setting clear guidelines for communication of COVID-19 test results, including exposure to person that has confirmed COVID positive test
result, to Angie Sanders, CEO of Autism Garden by staff members, clients, or their respective family members.
- Encouraging staff and families to follow CDC guidelines for limiting exposure to COVID-19 outside of the center
We are committed to closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, adhering to revised guidance from health authorities and regulatory
agencies, and serving as a resource for our community of families.
Please feel free to reach out to Angie or other team members with any questions.
Stay safe and healthy.
